105# Team WELCOME Party

The  105# Team had a WELCOME Party at Head Coach Chris Jones’ home the end of May. Head Coach Chris Jones,  Assistant Coaches Ricky Miskelley and Brian Lee led the Lions with some fun “Let’s Get Physical” competitive football activities.    To cool off the Lions jumped into the swimming pool while Coach Chris cooked hamburgers for everyone to enjoy.  Our 4th grade cheerleaders cheered the boys on and shared in the fun, too!

Briarwood Football Camp

Ryan Border, Mitchell Curtis,  Talor Herritt, Ryan Larkins, Colton Ledbetter, Brock Miskelley, Will Tarter and Jacob Waters from our 105# Team attended the Briarwood Football Camp this  summer.  The boys had a great time!  They learned a lot from Coach Kerley and the other coaches, and they especially enjoyed the water fun!

Andrew "Chipper" Jones & Colton "Mike" Ledbetter

Andrew “Chipper” Jones and Colton “Mike” Ledbetter, 105# Team,  attended Auburn “Gene Chizik” Tiger Football camp along with former Auburn football player, Head Coach Chris Jones.  The boys had an exciting time learning and developing football fundamentals and techniques.  During the punt, pass and kick competition, Ledbetter won with a 29 YARD BOMB in the 4th grade boys group.  Way to go “Mike.”  The boys favorite was a “mug shot” with Gene Chizik while sporting their new camp t-shirt and hat.  Coach Chris had a great time on the field with fellow player, Patrick Nix, and others  reminiscing their playing days at AU.   War Eagle!

Ryan Border

Ryan Border, 105# Team, attended Alabama “Nick Saban” Football camp this summer.  Border had an awesome experience in the “tight-end” group and learned a lot of basic skills that he cannot wait to share at practice. His highlight at camp was getting to meet Nick Saban and other “Tide” players.  Roll Tide!
